A ULIM student has received a U.S. Department of State scholarship and advanced about 200 of the better trained young people from RM

Through the U.S. Embassy, has applied for a scholarship at the well-known international Program of scholarship for undergraduate studies (Global Undergraduate Exchange Program-Global UGRAD) in the US, and won a battle with the best students of the Republic of Moldova, of about 200! Artur Caldarari, 4th year student at the Faculty of Informatics, Engineering, Design, within ULIM, along with two other youths in the country, obtained a scholarship for first academic semester of this year of study at Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, U.S.

The Program (Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (Global UGRAD)) is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA). This international educational and cultural exchange program brings the future leaders in the United States to experience the American education system, to enhance their knowledge and to explore the culture and values of this country.  It also offers students the opportunity to share their culture and traditions to U.S. citizens.
