Experts from Maastricht University, partner institutions from United Kingdom and Belgium share their experience at ULIM

At this moment, at ULIM, is conducted a training for the teaching staff of ULIM, within the European Project (TEMPUS) “Innovating Teaching and Learning of European Studies” (INOTLES), with the participation of experts from Maastricht University from Netherlands, Surrey University from the United Kingdom and the Institute of European Studies of Belgium. ULIM professors study the recent interactive methods of teaching and learning in the higher education in the EU, in order to apply them in practice at our faculties.

INOTLES represents an EU program, which supports innovative teaching strategies in the field of European studies.

“ULIM is one of the “pioneer” universities which provide, for the first time, to young people new disciplines brought into line with those of the EU institutions,” notes Ms. Ludmila Coada, project coordinator, at ULIM.

Ms. Ludmila Coada stresses that, ULIM through INOTLES, has expanded the partnership in the West-European and post-Soviet area, basis for new international projects. Both students and professors were involved in the project. Teaching staff have received various trainings, and the students were trained by Western professors. The Republic of Moldova tends to become part of the EU and this means integration, first of all, from educational perspectives.
