Alexandr Romanovici, the graduate of the Faculty of Biomedicine and Ecology of ULIM, promotion 2016, ranked first at the International Competition “Massage Spa Talent 2016”, organized at the end of October within Hair and Beauty Congress in Paestum, Italy. Alexandr Romanovici shared his victory with another representative of the Republic of Moldova, the massage therapist Sonia Fomin.

Ambassador of South Korea appreciates the good knowledge of the language of his country by ULIM’s students

His Excellency, Lee Yang-Goo, the ambassador of South Korea in the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine, awarded prizes to the best students of the Faculty of Letters, laureates of the Korean Language Competition for the beginner-level (Nadejda Cantir, 1st year), intermediary level (Victoria Coscodan, 2nd year) and advanced level (Alina Mutruc, 3rd year), organized by the Center of Korean Culture and Language “Se Jong” of ULIM. The diplomat from Seul addressed words of appreciation to the laureates and generally to young people that study this Asian language.

The globalization and the model of economic development of the South Korea – was the subject of a public lesson, organized today for the students of ULIM by His Excellency Lee Yang-Goo, the ambassador of the mentioned state in the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.

The Ambassador for the University of Debrecen Reveals the Mysteries of English Literature to the Students of ULIM

Under the aegis of Erasmus+ Credit Mobility project, Dr. Péter Szaffkó, retired Professor of English and Ambassador for the University of Debrecen as well as Director of Debrecen Summer School, had the opportunity to pay a visit to ULIM and provide lectures on British Literature and Hungary. He met several student groups from the Faculty of Letters and one group from the Faculty of Law. The lectures on British Literature intended to present some exciting ideas and literary facts about William Shakespeare's dramatic achievements and the theatrical atmosphere of the English Renaissance.

Experts from Maastricht University, partner institutions from United Kingdom and Belgium share their experience at ULIM

At this moment, at ULIM, is conducted a training for the teaching staff of ULIM, within the European Project (TEMPUS) “Innovating Teaching and Learning of European Studies” (INOTLES), with the participation of experts from Maastricht University from Netherlands, Surrey University from the United Kingdom and the Institute of European Studies of Belgium. ULIM professors study the recent interactive methods of teaching and learning in the higher education in the EU, in order to apply them in practice at our faculties.

Lithuanian Ambassador Rimantas Latakas Wants a Close Interuniversity Cooperation

One of the special news at ULIM, in the context of academic relations evolution, is the recent meeting of the rector Andrei Galben with Mr. Rimantas Latakas, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Lithuania to Republic of Moldova. The diplomat announced that he intends to support at the highest level ULIM in modernizing the Aula Lithuania.

Students of ULIM Benefited from Academic Mobility at the University Danubius of Galati

11 students of ULIM from the faculties of Law, Economic Sciences, International Relations, Political Sciences and Journalism benefitted of academic mobility for a semester at the University Danubius of Galati within the Program Erasmus + (Action-key 1: Mobility of the persons in educational aim).

Two graduates of ULIM will benefit from a program of leadership and entrepreneurship, with professors from Harvard, Stanford, Wharton and Berkeley

Great surprise. As Nina Maico, a fresh graduate in global economy and international economic relations of ULIM, part of the top 50 students in the world, in 2016, selected by the teachers of the prestigious Aspire Academy, another graduate of the same faculty has been selected.

A person in charge of John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, to visit ULIM

This week, Tomasz Kostecki, Head of the Office of International Relations at the Catholic University John Paul II of Lublin, is in training mobility within the Erasmus + at ULIM. His visit is a response to a visit that was recently paid by his counterpart, Valentina Ciumacenco, Head of the International Cooperation Center.
