Summer Semester at ULIM

Department of Social Work and Sociology in collaboration with the International Center for Advancement of Social Work in Countries with Transition Economies are pleased to announce an accelerated summer semester at ULIM from Iunie 2nd to Iunie 13 as a part of the Master of Social Work/Social Expert Program at ULIM.

Courses offered:

  1. Environmental Social Work and Sustainability (Concentration in Social Economic Development)
  2. Risk Management (Concentration in Disaster, Violence, and Trauma)

These two courses (5 credits per course) are a part of the MSW curriculum at the Program and students taking them will be credited toward fulfilment of the Program requirements. 

The courses will be taught in English at ULIM by Professors Vadim Moldovan, LCSW, PhD (The City University of New York and ULIM) and Justin Groteleuschen, LMSW (ULIM).  

Course schedule:  Two weeks from Iunie 2nd to Iunie 13th. Five evenings per week – 4-7 pm 

Program requirements:  Applicants must have an undergraduate degree in social work, psychology, sociology, psycho-pedagogy or other related disciplines.  Basic knowledge of English is required.
