A group of didactic staff, PhD and Master students from the Faculty of Psychology, Sciences of Education and Social Assistance participate for three days at the International Conference A social Europe for youth : education to employment, organized by the University of Oradea wth the support of European Commission and EU Program Jean Monnet. According to the local press, almost 80 scientific communications were delivered by university professors, PhD and Master students from university centers of Europe and USA.

Organizing the Master higher education at ULIM

The process of organizing the Master studies was submitted to assessment according to the activity plan of ULIM’s Senate and Quality Assurance Council. A report in this sense was presented by Mrs. Ana Spinu, th president of Quality Assurance Council. The admission at Master higher education studies is made on the basis of competition at which can participate the holder of Licentiate higher education diploma or another equivalent studies document, recognized by competent structure for recognizing and equating the studies documents and qualifications.

Studies quality and continuing modernization of the didactic process in the attention of ULIM’s Senate

At the end of the academic year, the ULIM’s Senate gathered for its penultimate meeting. The quality assessment of the courses teaching, including the Master studies and the situation regarding the employability of the graduates were the important issues that were discusses. By the Senate’s decision, Dr. Angela Chirita, Associate professor at the Faculty of Letters, for excellent realizations in didactic activity , Dr. Vasile Remes, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Biomedicine and Ecology and Mrs. Lilia Sarbu, accountable of ULIM were awarded the ULIM’s Medal.

Professors and administrative staff from ULIM benefit of training academic mobility at University of Cadiz

During this week, Mrs. Coada Ludmila, the director of Doctoral School Human, Political and Communications Sciences and Mrs. Valentina Ciumacenco, head of International Cooperation Center are in a study visit at University of Cadiz, Spain. The visit was organized within training academic mobility of Programme Erasmus+, available for the didactic and administrative staff employed at ULIM. University of Bergen, Norway, hosted last week a documentation visit for the directors of university libraries from the Republic of Moldova, organized within the project Modernization of University Libraries Services from Moldova, financed by Norwegian Cooperation Programme in Higher Education with Eurasia. Mrs. Irina Cerneauscaite participated at this meeting, the director of Information and Library Science Department (DIB), ULIM being a partner together with 18 university libraries from the Republic of Moldova, University of Bergen and University Transilvania from Brasov.

Francophone students from University of Craiova, trained by a professor of ULIM

At the invitation of Faculty of Letters and Center for University Success (CRU) of University of Craiova, the university educator Ghenadie Rabacov taught a lecture of training for didactic career with the theme Créer un répertoire d’activités pour l’enseignement/apprentissage de l’oral/écrit en classe de FLE, aimed at francophone students of the last years, future professors of French languages and educators beginners. The training was organized according to the model of an approach of participating and interactive training-action, by alternating the theoretical sessions with guided practical workshops (simulations, dialogues, work in partnerships).

Students jurists discuss the big issues of the law, regrouped at Symposia Studentium-2017

The Students’ Scientific Conference Symposia Studentium-2017 of the future jurists is currently organized; divided in to four compartments – international law; public law and history of state and law; civil law, civil procedure and family law; criminal law and forensics. The impact of the terrorism on the society, the settling of international disputes in peaceful way, the conflict of Syria, Vatican as subject of international law, the Abkhaz- Georgian conflict, the constitutional regulation of legislative process in the Republic of Moldova and the representation of our state at the international organizations – those are some of maximum actuality subjects, discussed by the students of the Faculty of Law.
