On this occasion, political, business and education leaders decided on the creation of Silk Road Alliance of Business Institutions from China and countries of Central and Eastern Europe. Its initiators handed to Mr. Wang Yifeng a congratulation diploma for ULIM, as founding member and counselor of Silk Road Alliance.

The high guests offered to ULIM a donation of books in Hungarian language from the part of University of Debrecen, one of the important partners of our institution. Good bye visit at ULIM of the ambassador of Hungary at Chisinau

Today, His Excellency Matyas Szilagyi, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Hungary in the Republic of Moldova together with Mr. Consul Gyula Levente Sass met the rector Andrei Galben at ULIM. This was the good bye visit of the Hungarian ambassador at the end of his mandate. His Excellency Matyas Szilagyi expressed his satisfaction regarding the positive status of the cooperation between ULIM and University of Debrecen. The Hungarian diplomat promised that even if he ends his mandate at Chisinau, he imply in extending the educational and cultural projects between ULIM and partners from his country.

The first visit of the new non-resident ambassador of Israel at ULIM

His Excellency Eliyahu Yerushalmi, the non-resident ambassador of Israel in the Republic of Moldova and Mr. Mark Basin, the first secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel made a visit at ULIM. The diplomats had a meeting with the rector Andrei Galben and the first vice-rector Ana Gutu, a meeting centered on strengthening the cooperation between ULIM and Representative of Non-Resident Ambassador of Israel and Israeli Cultural Center. During the discussions, there was decided that in the enar future there will be organized courses of teaching Hebrew on the basis of the curriculum of Ministry of Education of Israel. There will be concluded collaboration agreements with these partners.

“ULIM an open institution for the young people from abroad”

Today, a group of students from Israel passed the final exam at the Faculty of Psychology, Sciences of Education and Social Assistance. Amal Hussein attended the Master degree at ULIM and learnt Romanian language in two years only. He wants to become a professor of psychology in his country and to continue Doctorate studies. The Licentiate project of the young man is about the violence in the family and the relations parents-children. The fresh graduate of ULIM says that is a major issue of all countries that needs to be decreased by specialists psychologists.

Dr. Vitalie Gamurari, member of jury for an international competition on themes of humanitarian law of Red Cross

There was deployed at Moscow the International Competition of International Humanitarian Law “F.F. Martens”, 20th edition, organized by the International Committee of the Red Cross. Teams of students from universities of Russia, Belarus, Republic of Moldova, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan participated at the competition. Dr. Vitalie Gamurari, director of Doctoral School of Law at ULIM, was present as member of jury together with professors from Belarus, Switzerland, Estonia, Great Britain, Republic of Moldova etc.

The ambasador of Japan in the Republic of Moldova made a courtesy visit at ULIM

During this morning, His Excellence Masanobu Yoshii, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary ambassador of Japan in the Republic of Moldova, made a courtesy visit at ULIM. The Japanese diplomat had a meeting with the rector Andrei Galben, manifesting a major interest for the partnerships and the good practices of ULIM, known for its openness for academic projects of international importance. The main purpose of the visit was the establishment of cooperation relations between ULIM and Embassy of Japan by concluding a memorandum of understanding on educational and cultural level.
