On May 6, 2010 within ULIM it took place the inauguration of the Slovak Republic Room, the event was organized in cooperation with the Slovak Republic Embassy in Bucharest and the Honorary Consulate of the Slovak Republic in Chisinau. The honoured guest was the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Mr. Miroslav Lajcak. The public composed from students and teaching staff had the possibility to take part in an interactive discussion with His Excellency on various topics: approaching the emigration aspect, the bilateral cooperation, the integration perspectives of the Republic of Moldova in the European Union, etc.
