Between May 15–19, 2025, four faculty members from the Free International University of Moldova (ULIM) participated in a teaching mobility at Danubius International University in Galați, Romania, through the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Teaching program.

ULIM was represented by:

  • Dr. Lilia Mitev, Associate Professor, Faculty of Computer Science, Engineering, and Design
  • Dr. Constantin Pisarenco, Associate Professor, Faculty of Law
  • Dr. Ludmila Timotin, University Lecturer, Faculty of Economic Sciences
  • Dr. Aliona Melentieva, University Lecturer, Faculty of Social and Educational Sciences

During this mobility, the ULIM faculty members conducted teaching activities within the relevant departments, actively contributing to the educational process, the exchange of teaching experience, and the strengthening of inter-university cooperation.

Additionally, the ULIM delegation had the honor of participating, along with other colleagues present virtually, in the prestigious 20th International Conference on European Integration – Realities and Perspectives (EIRP 2025), held on May 16–17, 2025, in a hybrid format (in-person and online via the ZOOM platform).

This anniversary edition of the conference was held under the theme “Events and Crises Shaping the World in the 21st Century” and brought together researchers, university faculty, and experts from numerous countries interested in the global challenges of the new millennium. Organized in partnership with ULIM, the conference provided an international forum for the exchange of ideas, presentation of recent research, and debates on major topics such as: European integration, the economic crisis, migration, climate change, the circular economy, energy security, the information society, global trade, and more.

ULIM’s participation in this prestigious event reflects the university’s ongoing commitment to promoting internationalization in education and research, as well as to supporting strategic academic partnerships.
