The Free International University of Moldova announces the organization of the selection competition for candidates for academic mobility at the Erasmus+ partner institution, the University of A Coruña (UDC), Spain, which offers mobility scholarships for ULIM students.

Selection stages:
To benefit from Erasmus+ study mobility for the first semester of the academic year 2024-2025, the candidate must submit the dossier to the International Cooperation Center within ULIM (4th floor, office 443), within the application deadline.
Documents required for the dossier:
– Europass CV (in Spanish and/or English);
– Letter of intent/motivation (in Spanish and/or English);
– Academic record (academic certificate issued by the secretariat-dean’s office);
– Certificate of proficiency in Spanish and/or English (from authorized departments) or other recognized diplomas; except for students studying the respective language as an integral part of their specialization at the Faculty of Foreign Languages;
– Additional diplomas, certificates – optional (in copy).
NOTE: If you do not have a certificate attesting to your language skills, you can take a language skills assessment test at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, ULIM. Registrations are made at the International Cooperation Center, 4th floor, office 443.
The scoring will be calculated as follows:
– Overall average of academic results obtained up to the last session, including: 50% of the score
– Linguistic skills (proficiency in the Spanish language is an advantage): 30% of the score
– Interview: 20% of the score
Conditions for participation in the selection for Erasmus+ study mobilities:
– Undergraduate students, full-time, in the second year (Foreign Languages, Information Technologies ) and the third year (for students enrolled in specialties such as Information Technologies, with a study duration of 4 years);
– Master’s, doctoral students;
– Full-time students with good academic results (minimum seven for science profile and minimum eight for humanities profile (for master’s students, the average of the years of study for the completed undergraduate cycle will also be taken into account);
– Students who demonstrate a high level of proficiency in the foreign language in which the host university teaches, at least B1 level (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages https://europass.cedefop.europa.eu/ro/resources/european-language-levels-cefr).
NOTE: Mobility recipients are those students from the selection hierarchy who receive allocated funds. Other students who meet the eligibility criteria are included in the reserve lists, with the possibility of obtaining the grant in the same hierarchy order, in case of withdrawals/redistributions or fund supplements. Candidates who do not meet the selection criteria will be considered rejected.
The Erasmus+ grant awarded is approximately 850 euros/month. The round-trip transport fee is covered separately from the program account.
Erasmus+ Study Mobilities
The Erasmus+ program allows ULIM students to undertake study mobilities at partner universities in another country within the European Community.
The objectives of study mobilities within the Erasmus+ program are as follows:
– To provide students with the opportunity to discover the advantages of studying in other European countries from an educational, linguistic, and cultural perspective;
– To contribute to the development of human resources consisting of qualified, open-minded, and internationally experienced young people as future professionals.
You can benefit from up to 12 months of Erasmus+ mobility per academic cycle (undergraduate, master’s, doctoral).
