Programme Objective
The programme supports the socio-economic development of developing countries by enabling their citizens to pursue free second-cycle (Master’s) studies in Poland, either in Polish or English, under a scholarship funded by NAWA and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Who is it for?
The programme is addressed to citizens of 36 countries, including Ukraine, Georgia, India, Nigeria, Rwanda, the Philippines, Uzbekistan, Brazil, Vietnam, Iraq, Mexico and others.
To apply, a candidate must:
- not hold Polish citizenship
- have completed a Bachelor’s degree (no earlier than in 2023) or be in the final semester of first-cycle studies
- not hold a Master’s degree or equivalent
- have knowledge of Polish (min. A2/B2) or English (min. B2), depending on the study path
- not have previously received a NAWA scholarship under this programme
What does the offer include?
The programme offers two educational paths:
- Polish-language path:
- one-year preparatory course + second-cycle studies, or
- second-cycle studies in Polish (without preparatory course)
- English-language path:
- second-cycle studies in English + a Polish language and culture course (before the studies and in summer 2026)
What does the programme cover?
- scholarship of PLN 2,500 per month (up to 12 months per academic year)
- exemption from tuition fees (at public universities)
- one-time travel allowance to Poland – PLN 2,500
- possibility to receive an additional PLN 500 in case of a documented fortuitous event
Deadlines and limits
- Application deadline: until 27 June 2025, 3:00 PM (Warsaw time) or until 300 applications are submitted in a given country group
- Announcement of results: by 30 September 2025

Required documents include:
- passport scan
- diploma/Bachelor’s degree certificate or confirmation from university
- confirmation of application to a Polish university
- language proficiency certificate
- video self-presentation (1–3 minutes)
