On September 20, in an atmosphere filled with academic commitment, the Free International University of Moldova (ULIM) took part in an important ceremony for signing partnership agreements with the University of Hamburg, Germany, and the State University of Intelligent Technologies and Telecommunications of Ukraine.
The signing of these collaboration agreements marks a significant step in strengthening academic and scientific cooperation between ULIM and the two higher education institutions from Germany and Ukraine, aiming to promote the exchange of experience and the development of mutually beneficial joint projects.
During the ceremony, ULIM’s leadership and representatives from the two universities discussed the opportunities this partnership provides to students and faculty. In particular, they emphasized the importance of academic exchange programs, which will allow students to benefit from international educational experiences and broaden their knowledge in a globalized environment. Additionally, they discussed the possibility of initiating new joint research projects and collaborations within European frameworks to advance areas of mutual interest.
Through this partnership, ULIM, together with the University of Hamburg, Germany, and the State University of Intelligent Technologies and Telecommunications of Ukraine, aims to create a solid platform for exchanging knowledge and best practices, promoting academic mobility, and contributing to the development and modernization of higher education.
The signatory parties will act in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, considering available resources and means. The content of the agreement outlines specific actions focused on:
– Collaboration in teaching and methodology;
– Cooperation in scientific research activities;
– Collaboration in the continuous training of scientific and teaching staff;
– Cooperation in library-related activities.
ULIM and its partner institutions will annually evaluate the outcomes of the activities conducted under the agreement and their impact, proposing measures to optimize future collaborations.
The signing of these partnership agreements took place during the International Conference “Innovative Approaches in Conflict Transformation and Refugee Assistance,” organized at ULIM on September 19–20 by the Faculty of Social and Educational Sciences, with the participation of colleagues from the University of Hamburg, Germany, and the State University of Intelligent Technologies and Telecommunications of Ukraine.
