On April 27, the inauguration of the Aula India  took place, with the support and assistance of the Embassy of the Republic of India in the Republic of Moldova, with its residence in Bucharest.

The event was organized in compliance with all health regulations, imposed by the Covid 19 pandemic, starting with the cutting of the ribbon by ULIM Rector Ilian Galben and H.E. Rahul Shrivastava, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India in the Republic of Moldova. Rector Ilian Galben thanked His Excellency for the support and contribution, revealing that Aula India will represent a symbol of establishing collaborative relations between institutions and peoples and will serve as a platform for future cultural initiatives and joint educational projects.

H. E. Rahul Shrivastava, for his part, expressed the intention to boost and expand collaborative relations in the educational field, as well as carrying out exchanges of experience and knowledge. In order to record the moment of inauguration, the parties also signed a Cooperation Protocol between ULIM and the Embassy of the Republic of India, the mutual interest in creating a favorable environment for the consolidation of sustainable cooperation projects being pronounced.

The event was moderated by Valentina Ciumacenco, Vice-rector for International Relations.
