On October 20, within Free International University of Moldova was inaugurated the “Aula Switzerland”. The ceremony was attended by ULIM’s Rector, Academician Andrei Galben; His Excellency, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Switzerland in Kiev, Mr Georg Zubler; resident director of the Swiss Cooperation Office in Chisinau, Mrs. Georgette Bruch; first vice rector, Mrs. Ana Gutu; vice rector for international cooperation, Mr. Gerhard Ohrband, and communications coordinator, Swiss Cooperation Office, Mrs. Natalia Cernat. During the event, was signed a cooperation agreement between the Swiss Embassy in Kiev and ULIM.Taking into consideration that the newly opened auditorium is designed as a computer laboratory, the Embassy of Switzerland made a donation of computers for that room.
