Inauguration of the International Centre for promotion social assistance in countries with transition economies

On 15 of June, 2013, within ULIM was inaugurated the International Centre for promotion social assistance in countries with transition economies. The Center was inaugurated within the Reading Room nr. 4.

The event is an international collaboration that aims to transform the quality of social assistance in the Republic of Moldova and other States.  The Center was inaugurated in the framework of the project “Casa Mare” (June 2012-June 2015)

The mission of the Centre and the envisaged activities will result in creation opportunities to promote professional social service on international quality standards.  The event was attended by experts/teachers and international students (from University of CUNY, USA) and national managers of the departments of the higher educational institutions, local government representatives, social workers, non-commercial associations etc.
