The selection competition within the ERASMUS+ program has started

ULIM organizes the student selection competition for participation in academic mobility within the ERASMUS+ program for the academic year 2023 – 2024 (semester II).

Through the Erasmus+ Program, selected students (from all Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctorate) cycles can spend a semester at one of the partner universities, as follows:

Selection stages:

In order to benefit from an Erasmus+ study mobility during the second semester of the 2023-2024 academic year, the candidate must submit the file to the International Cooperation Center within ULIM (IV floor, office 443), within the announced application deadline.

 Documents required for the file:

– Europass CV (in English);

– Letter of intent/motivation justifying including the chosen university and the reasons for the application (in English);

– Academic status (academic certificate issued by the dean’s office);

– Certificate of knowledge of the English language (from qualified departments) or other recognized diplomas; not for students studying that language as an integral part of their major;

– Diplomas, additional certificates – optional (in copy).

NOTE: If you do not have a certificate attesting to your language skills, you can take a language skills assessment test at the Faculty of Letters. Registrations are made at the International Cooperation Center, et. 4, off. 443.

Knowledge of other international languages ​​(Italian, Spanish and Turkish) will be an advantage.

The score will be calculated as follows:

– The overall average of the academic results obtained until the last session, including: 50% of the score

– Language skills: 30% of the score

– Interview: 20% of the score

Conditions for participation in the selection for Erasmus+ study mobility:

– Students from the undergraduate cycle, day section – year II (all specialties) and year III (in the case of students enrolled in the specialties: law, design, information technologies, with the duration of studies of 4 years);

– Masters, PhD students;

– Students in the day section, with good academic results (minimum seven for the real profile and minimum eight for the humanities profile (in the case of master’s students, the average of the years of study for the cycle of undergraduate studies already completed will be taken into account);

– Students who demonstrate a high level of knowledge of the foreign language taught at the host university, level B1, at least (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages https://europass.cedefop.europa.eu/ro/resources/european-language-levels-cefr).

NOTE: Those students in the selection hierarchy who reach the allocated funds become holders of mobility. The other students who meet the eligibility criteria are included in the reserve lists, having the possibility of obtaining the grant, in the same order of the hierarchy, in case of waivers/redistribution or supplemental funds. Those candidates who do not meet the respective selection criteria will be considered rejected.

The Erasmus+ grant awarded is approximately 850 euros/month. The round-trip transportation fee is covered separately from the program account.

Erasmus+ study mobility

The Erasmus+ program allows ULIM students to carry out study mobility at partner universities in another country in the European Community.

The objectives of study mobilities within the Erasmus+ program are the following:

– To offer students the opportunity to discover the advantages of a study experience in other European countries from an educational, linguistic and cultural point of view;

– To contribute to the development of human resources made up of qualified, open-minded young people with international experience as future professionals.

You can benefit from up to 12 months of Erasmus+ mobility per academic cycle (bachelor’s, master’s, doctorate).
