On the 3rd of November, the first meeting took place, organized online with the working group members participation  instituted by Order of the Minister of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova No. 1351 of 26.10.2023.

The topic of the meeting being: the elaboration of the framework Regulation and the conduct of dual higher education within the framework of higher studies at the bachelor’s level (cycle I).

At the beginning of the meeting , Mrs. Adriana Cazacu-Țigaie, Secretary of State, president of the working group, started with a greeting. Interventions followed from the representatives of the Political Directorate in the field of higher education, MEC, with reference to the normative regulations regarding dual higher education. The Concept of dual higher education in the general field of studies 011 Educational Sciences (0112 Preschool Pedagogy, 0113 Pedagogy in primary education, 0114 Teacher Training) was presented by Stela Gînju, head of the Academic Management and Quality Assurance Department, State Pedagogical University ” Ion Creanga”.

 

Afterwards, the representatives of ASEM, UTM and ULIM presented the experience of the respective institutions in piloting dual higher education in the academic year 2022-2023, within the ERASMUS+ project “Integrating Dual Higher Education in Moldova and Ukraine – COOPERA” (Reference number: 617490-EPP- 1-2020-1-MD-EPPKA2-CBHE-SP).

 

The International Free University of Moldova was represented at this meeting by vice-rector Valentina Ciumacenco, COOPERA institutional coordinator, who spoke about ULIM’s experience (achievements, challenges) in piloting dual higher education in the general field of study 031 Social and behavioral sciences/field of professional training 0312 Political science/Professional master’s program “Diplomacy, Security, Business and Communication.

 

The formed working group will, within a month, develop the draft of the framework Regulation for the organization and conduct of dual higher education within the framework of higher studies at the bachelor’s level (cycle I).

 

The higher education policies department will coordinate the drafting process of the draft Framework Regulation, will perfect the informative note on the draft and will ensure public consultation of the elaborated document.
